Learning Strategist & Designer
Developing digital learning experiences that build skills, adoption & performance.
About Me
What surprises people most about me is that I have 11+ years of experience as a Graphic/UX Designer, Marketing Manager, and 7 years experience as a College Instructor. From there, I transitioned into eLearning Design and Learning Strategy.
It felt like an intuitive change because these disciplines all share one goal: helping people successfully adopt new ideas, skills, and technologies through thoughtful and functional user experiences.
Currently, I’m a Senior Learning & Development Specialist at my current corporate workplace (financial institution).
Some quick facts:
I am recognized by stakeholders and management as an influential professional for my ability to gain buy-in, drive tech adoption and earn trust.
I’ve designed 100+ courses/programs in the past 6 years (via workplace, higher education & freelance work).
I’ve taught 300+ students how to use Adobe Photoshop.
I’ve been an entrepreneur off-and-on throughout my 15-year career, providing services and consulting in graphic design, UX/web design, marketing strategy, eLearning, learning strategy, and technology training.
I’m a graduate of UBC’s Master of Educational Technology (MET) program (2025)
I love to volunteer my time and participate in events hosted by UBC’s MET Community (e.g., student orientation, program feedback, hackathon participant).
I’m a proud Auntie, avid runner, patient gardener, and casual crafter.

I have designed and implemented learning solutions for organizations ranging from 10-to-1,200 employees. The solutions I develop combine learning science, UX design, marketing, and technology strategy to help organizations build skills, drive adoption, and navigate change.
In 2025, I developed Digital Media and Data Literacy for Adults, an interactive course featured by MediaSmarts and adopted within the University of British Columbia's Master of Educational Technology program. The course helps adults build the digital skills and confidence needed to navigate a rapidly evolving technology landscape.
I'm passionate about helping organizations build learning cultures that support growth, confidence & competence, and meaningful change. If you're exploring workforce upskilling, learning strategy, AI adoption, or learning transformation initiatives, I’d welcome a conversation.
